*These masks are individually packaged and have been sterilized with Ethylene Oxide. The odour dissipates within minutes but if it really bothers you, please open the packaging in advance to let the mask air out. Chinese standards require sterilization of the masks while Canada does not.
 
Fitting Instructions:
WEAR the mask with the nose clip upwards and hang the ear loops over each ear. Avoid touching the inside of the mask with your hands.
PRESS the nose clip over the bridge of your nose, sliding your fingers against the sides of your nose and your cheeks to fit your face.

NOTE: If the nose clip does not fit well on your face, it will cause improper sealing and reduce the protective capability of the mask.

What is the difference between N95 and KN95 masks?
NIOSH-Approved N95 are the gold standard, and Health Canada lists KN95 as acceptable alternatives. N95 respirators are tight-fitting respirators that reduce the wearer’s exposure to airborne particles and filter out at least 95% of large and small particles. KN95 masks are made of similar grade filter material that filters out at least 95% of large and small particles. However, KN95 masks do not require fit tests. Ear loop style masks have been reported to have a looser fit and thus, don’t have as tight of a seal. KN95 masks offer a better seal than protective masks and surgical masks while offering the same comfort for long-term use and are often seen as a moderate balance.
 
Warnings: Single-use only. Check mask condition before using and discard immediately if it is damaged. This mask does not eliminate the risk of contracting any disease or infection. Replace if damaged or soiled with blood or other bodily fluids.
